Welcome to my website...

Adrian Owens is the Conservative Parliamentary Spokesman for West Lancashire. He is campaigning to win the seat from Labour at the next general election. Adrian was selected at a public meeting of more than 150 local people in July 2007.

The news editor of the local Ormskirk and Skelmersdale Advertiser newspapers said: "Adrian Owens was a worthy winner - confident, articulate and polished. He was a man who looked most at ease and had the air of a professional politician - someone who could definitely give the Tories a fighting chance at the next election."

Adrian is the LOCAL candidate, selected by LOCAL residents. Find out more about Adrian here. Adrian has a clear, transparent approach to expenses which will reduce the cost of politics. See here for further details.

In the three years since Adrian was selected, he has campaigned hard on a number of issues and has brought key figures from the Conservative Party to West Lancashire to highlight issues such as health, transport, education and agriculture.

Among those to come to West Lancs include Shadow Foreign Secretary William Hague (pictured below), Shadow Secretary for Innovation, Universities and Skills David Willetts, Shadow Secretary for Children, Schools and Families Michael Gove and Chairman of the Conservative Party, Eric Pickles.

In addition, he joined the successful campaign to save Newburgh Post Office from closure by the Labour Government and helped secure investment in Skelmersdale, Ormskirk and Burscough's centres.
