Prime Minister's speech on multiculturalism was "pitch perfect"

Adrian Owens has hailed the Prime Minister’s speech on the failure of state multiculturalism as “pitch perfect”. He has called on the local MP to disassociate herself from remarks made by her party’s Shadow Justice Secretary who smeared the Prime Minister by accusing him of writing propaganda for an extremist and violent group.

Adrian said, “David Cameron’s speech at the Munich security conference marked a watershed. It clearly distinguished between religion and ideology and charted clearly how state multiculturalism has unintentionally fostered division rather than integration.

"The Prime Minister expressed clearly how a society that fails to defend its values can be undermined from within and I warmly welcome his speech and the change in approach which it heralds.”

Adrian concluded with a challenge to the local MP, “For the Labour Justice Spokesman in response, to accuse Mr Cameron of writing propaganda for the English Defence League is outrageous and seeks once again to divide rather than to unite. I call upon our local MP to disassociate herself from this smear on our Prime Minister.”
